Episode 1/Ubel blatt review from someone who read the manga.

@BanryuTV The censoring isn't even the main problem, they just skipped an entire volume of world building and character introduction. Of course anime-only viewers have no idea what's going on.

Since I've dropped the anime after ep2 - did they by now explain that Keinzell was the former hero Ascheriit from 20 years ago? Did they explain how he almost died because the other 7 heroes betrayed him and his 3 comrades and barely survived due to eating an elf (or being eaten by one, he doesn't remember)? That it took him 10 years to regain and stabilize a human-like body and that his current half-elf body is incredibly unstable, so he can't even use the same strength and powers he formerly had as Ascheriit? He might be a sword master but inhabits a defect body that's only at 100% when the moon shines brightly, that's why we seem him strugle even against minor enemies early in the story.

Understand this. Many ecchi shows have aired on the same tv channels.
The most likely reason it got censored was because it might have gotten a bad time slot like for example jigen 2.5. But I think this aired late at night and you’re argument doesn’t hold up.
Secondly Redo of healer was airing on tv, gushing over magical girls too. Things got really really censored here because the west has a lot of influence now and the west caters to woke tourists like you who love seeing authors works getting censored.

It wasn't an elf but a fairy he has eaten which has transformed him into a fairy-like being as a result. Also when he overexerts himself his body shrinks temporarily.
