A prequel to the amazing Bubblegum Crisis OVAs from mid 1990s to 1991, done in early 1990s is pretty damn awesome. Much better than the Remake that was done a bit later.

Simply amazing needs to be seen anime.

I personally love the show and the English dub is comedy gold. Very detailed and very violent, however, it's not amazing either. Re watchable, but like once every five years or so.

This show is what an anime should be, IMO. Extremely detailed... the characters aren't all cutesy... and plenty of action/violence germane to it's story. Could have been from the Old School era, but it's modern.

Amazing anime for lovers of aerial combat. IS a bit depressing though.

Not as depressing as the OVAs from the 1980s but equally good, and in some respects superior, in some respects inferior. It's closer to the manga in a lot of episodes too.

Tried getting into this one but from the start I had it confused with Kantai Collection. Didn't help matters any that the DVD set that I had was only English Subbed and the timing was off on the subs and it was a chore to read. Found it average. LOVE the character designs but that was about it.

Wasn't exactly what I expected, but I enjoyed it.

Wish it had been a series but as a one shot OVA it was pretty good.

This was a kickstarter I backed thinking it be a proper reboot OVA of "at least" half and hour of the awesome 1989 RIDING BEAN. Turned out to be like less than 10 minutes of disjointed scenes that were incoherent and a waste of time, and a waste of my personal money to get it made.

Going through this show little by little with my 16 year old daughter. Was recently on hold now we back to it.

They don't make anime like this one anymore. Missed it back in the day. Watched it in 2020 for the first time.

This is a really weird show. I almost stopped watching it around episode 4, but kept on and glad I did.

This is one I'm going to pick up on DVD soon for my collection. Not the greatest show but "different".

Love the character designs and art style. Found a DVD of the movie in 2020, but had known about the movie for a long time.

Same people who did VOTOMS and DOUGRAM. "Different" and neat. Won't hate on it or give it too low a score, but ain't partial to it like the other series Ryosuke Takahashi did.

Saw and watched this off a recorded VHS fan subbed copy back in 1995 from an Anime "Meet Up" of what was F.A.S.T. (Friends of Animation in South Texas) that became Dimension Hammer Otaku Society or D-HOS. Love this movie.

Wish the show would have been more serious in tone with quasi realistic character designs, but that said I found the show endearing.

MAL only goes far back as 1992. I saw this movie on VHS back in 1988 when I was 10. Cute and fun animated film. Looking for a DVD of it now.

Loved the two OVAs when it came out, still love it now. Too bad it didn't get a full fledged series going.

Saw this in '93 on VHS recorded on LP Mode from a anime gathering daisy chained. Later bought the 3 DVD set sometime in mid 2000s. Good show. Great animation quality. Appreciated it more in my late 20s than I did at 15.

First GUNDAM shown I ever saw in Oct 1991 (MAL only goes back ton 1992). Recorded it off community access show "Anime Review" fan subbed before official releases from Bandai in late 90s on VHS. Eventually bought DVD set put out. Apparently some people don't like the show, I think it's great.

I liked the movie and all, but don't see myself rewatching it again and again. Prolly re-watch it again in 2024 or something.

I saw 0083: Stardust Memory and 0080: War in the Pocket before this one back in the day, but once it was released by Bandai on VHS, I was aaaaaaaaal about it. For animation from 1979 it still rocks!

Loved it for what it is as a movie. Very "different" Gundam outing.

Found it "Different" that's for sure, but liked it.

One of the absolute best GUNDAM shows within the U.C. Calendar.

Nice follow up movie. Animation still looks great in 2022 as well.

Loved the fact that while a new anime from modern times, it retains it's character design and "vibe" of the old school GUNDAM shows it's the origins of.

Saw a few eps of this on TV in the 1990s but never the whole thing. In 2022, my 13 year old son and I are watching this together, every Sunday when I have him with me. This'll take awhile.

One of the first anime I ever saw.

I didn't care for rhe idea of this show for 27 years and refused to watch it, but Macross Delta proved better than I thought that would be, so I gave the first few eps a shot on YouTube, liked it enough that I bought a DVD set.

First saw it as "Clash of the Bionoids" horribly chopped up in 1991... then in 1992 got a fan subbed VHS of it uncut. Around 2003 I picked up a HK DVD of it. This is one that stood the test of time.

Never have seen the one that started it all, and now with DVD sets Volume 1 (Eps 1 - 46) and Volume 2 (Eps 47 - 92) I can. MAZIN GO!

Anyone who's a fan of BLADERUNNER, G.I.T.S. and movies like Equilibrium or Fahrenheit 451 will like this.
